July 13, 2018 Daily Writer’s Motivation

July 13, 2018

The path of a writer is like a special multidimensional forest. One that is filled with the thick fog of the unknown. It’s a pothole heaven that is covered in mud with windy roads that tend to lead you back to where you started. The writer’s road is an unending painful one. Yet, it’s well traveled. If you keep looking down you might just see the footprints of famous authors.
Here are some tips to help you thrive. No matter how great they are, those footprints are not from you story, look up. No matter how safe, that path is already paved, get off it. No matter how vast, that forest has so much more to offer, explore it. No matter how many times you fall, get up. No matter how thick the mud can get, keep moving. No matter how many times you find yourself back at the start, look around, you’ll see something new. Above all else, no matter what happens your characters will never give up trying to tell their story, and neither should you. ~ Bookish Creation
